What about my name, I want to capitilize that too darn it!...hahaha
ReplyDeleteSquee or flee? How about, take a deep breath and pat yourself on the back for taking that step?
ReplyDeleteEasy for me to say. I was a wreck when I turned my WiP over to others for reading.
On the subject of capital letters... I hate it when people talk/write about 'kindles' when they mean e-readers. A Kindle is an e-reader sold by Amazon.
ReplyDelete(It's too late to stop Biro and Hoover I suppose.....)
Definitely SQUEEE! I'm so proud of you (like I had anything to do with it.)
ReplyDeleteI mess up on the capitalization thing with seasons and am and pm. I really want to capitalize those things. Don't know why,I just do.
Thanks for the grammar lesson, and I cast a vote for squeeing. It's a great feeling taking this step forward and putting your work out there, don't you think? Hoping you hear good things soon :)
ReplyDeleteI don't squee, but you should!
ReplyDeleteI would like to see Alex squee, but you most definitely should. LD
ReplyDeleteThere's something I've always wondered if it should be capitalized, but now I'm drawing a blank as to what it is.
Really? a.m. and p.m.? I've been doing it wrong all these years? *hangs head in embarrassment*
ReplyDeleteDude! You should totally SQUEE! (yes, I just said "dude.") Sorry! That is exciting tho.
ReplyDeleteAnd great info on the Grammar stuff. I need to bookmark these things.
Congrats on sending you WIP to an editor. I hope you get great feedback!
ReplyDeleteDarn, I better quit capitolizing seasons. You sent your WIP to an editor?! Cool! I wish you the best of luck. :) Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteGo ahead & SQEEEEEEEE!
ReplyDeleteTotally SQUEEEEE! That's awesome! :D :D
ReplyDeleteBut I WANT to capitalize A.M. and P.M. (darn it)!!! And SQUEEE!!
ReplyDeleteGreat post and I always want to capitalize seasons for some reason!
ReplyDelete"Should I squeee? Or should I cringe?"
ReplyDeleteI want to hear you squee clear across the country to where I am. And I think you should celebrate! What an amazing big step. I'm so proud of you.
I'm going to go with...
ReplyDeleteSQUEEEEEEEE! :)
(Oops! I probably broke a capitalization rule there. I might have to re-read your post again!)
Hard not to capitalize compass points when you work for a surveyor! Most of those I already knew, so I feel much better. lol. Definitely squee. They'd be stupid not to want more. (Just my opinion) Keeping my fingers crossed for you! Mentally, of course; couldn't type otherwise, hehe.
