Yet, I'd hat to lose contact with the many awesome friends that I made while blogging.
Anyway.
First Meandering ...
Didn't get nearly as much done as I'd hoped. I did pretty well in March with that novella which I had to set aside when April (and Camp NaNo) came. I got a whopping 500 words in on the second one before my month fell apart.
I still only have 500 words. *sigh*
Second Meandering ...
We closed on the property where we're going to build our retirement home. This could really happen!
Our property is the bare ground where we're standing. |
To sweeten the pie, we're having a giveaway with the prize being a $50 Amazon gift card.
Please stop buy and check out the books on sale and sign up! Click here
So what have you been doing the last couple of months?
Congrats on buying the property to build your new home. How exciting! Sometimes life gets so busy that not much writing gets done. Frustrating but they happen.
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't stop blogging. It's not dead and you really make friends in a way you don't on Twitter and Facebook. I'd miss you.
See, I'd miss you too, Natalie. And you're right. You can connect through blogging in a way you just can't on Twitter and FB.
Delete"blogs are dead"--except for the ones that aren't.
ReplyDeleteMother's Day seems so early this year.
Congrats on the property, and nice to see you back!
I know, right? I wonder if the changes in blogging have just shifted from "marketing" to connection.
DeleteWell I was busy with the A to Z Challenge. But I'm also getting really close to getting my next novel to my editor... big step. Congratulations on being closer to getting your retirement home built!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo, Bish. That's awesome.
DeleteYou may have been away, but you were tracked daily on my blog. When I saw you didn't post, I moved on, but I knew you'd come back. And guess what? You did. Congrats on the property!
ReplyDeleteThat's so kind. Thank you!
DeleteRetirement home as in a home where you and the hubs will retire, or a retirement home for old people you will take care of professionally?
ReplyDeleteHaha. A retirement home where hubby and I will retire. :D
DeleteCongrats on getting the land, sure it will be grand. Things will always go on, but doesn't mean one should stop. 500 words is 500 words.
