Life on Hold

I feel like I've lost two months. I was sick much of November with something the doctor called a "long cold." I was approaching the 4-week mark when everything blew up. After a really bad case of aspiration pneumonia and surgery to fix it, I'm slowly healing, though I'm still on oxygen. But I'm alive.

And I'm putting everything on hold. I wish everyone a great 2025.

  1. Donna, I'm so sorry! Prayers for a full recovery. My mother had aspiration pneumonia. Sounds like they caught yours quickly.

  2. Wishing you a quick recovery, dear. Now it is time for your hubby to take care of you for a change :) Do not forget to buy green honey with herbs good for lungs after hospital to recover your lungs.

  5. I'm hoping you have a good recovery. Best advice? Don't watch TV just now. The news is too depressing. Take comfort in reading and sleeping and drinking hot tea. You are a wonderfully prolific writer. Words and stories will come back to you.

  6. I hope you're on the road to recovery. Give walking in a park or forested trail to give your self a boose.
