Thought for the Week - June 19th
Got the last of my billionaire series off to my proofers, and I'm working on my next Twickenham time travel. I'm trying something different this month. I'm working on two projects at once. My goal each day is 2,000 words on the Twickenham and only 300 on a western novella set in 1905 Wyoming. It's been fun and provides a nice change. They're both historical, but the Twickenham is set in 1851 England and includes a little fae magic.
What have you been up to this week? Any plans for the weekend?

Where would you travel if you could, into the past or into the future?
ReplyDeleteSince I'm kind of into history, maybe that.
DeleteI would confuse myself working on two projects at once!
ReplyDeleteIf they're too similar, then yes. The same with reading/listening to books in the same genre at the same time. It can get confusing.
DeleteI dont know, I'm having such a good time just being here. The future does hold the key to so many possibilities.
ReplyDeleteSeize the moment then. It's the only one's that sure.
DeleteI use a similar line when recruiting volunteers: Those who want to help will find the time; those who don't will fine the excuse.
ReplyDeleteI'm always impressed by people who can work on two projects at once.
I wouldn't want to work on two projects in the same time period though. lol
DeleteWorking on two can be fun. Soon you can throw in a third.
ReplyDeleteA third? Hmmm . . .
DeleteGreat quote. Awesome you can work on two projects at once.
ReplyDeleteJames A. Owen is an inspirational speaker and an amazing writer.
DeleteI'm still trying to dig out of the suitcases and get myself a bot more organized. It's so hard to think with a cluttered life!
ReplyDeleteLove that quote. It's so true. I love historicals. If you need a beta reader, bug me first. :) If not, I'll wait for publication like a normal reader. LOL
