Haha. Yeah. I've been hearing about that. I still love the message. But then I never mind having an issue brought to my attention that my help me look at things differently.
I generally support the negative comments on this one, not because of the message, but more because of the term 'toxic masculinity' that is used in this campaign. They should've picked a more politically correct term, this one sends a wrong message, like masculinity is generally bad. Imagine if there was toxic femininity term, the hateful feminists would be the first one to riot. I feel bad for the boys growing up today, as they are growing up filled with fear and suppression. Bad behaviour should be connected with bad upbringing and bad parents, not with masculinity or femininity. I'm a liberal, but I think that liberals are turning the world into the chaos of extremes.
There is a toxic femininity term--Femi-nazi. And it exists just as toxic masculinity does. I think what this video is trying to address is the cultural acceptance of behavior that used to be blown off as no big deal. But it is a big deal.
Men do need to step up and do the right thing.
