A new year. Yes, it's an arbitrary date, but it always feels like a fresh page.
A new start.
A new me.
Well, not really a new me. We all know that we're still who we were the day before, but the potential is so fraught with possibilities. It's almost irresistible.
So, here's an adorable little girl to explain to you why New Year's Resolutions can be a good thing.
Second Meandering ...
Hubby is installing the appliances and has almost all the main floor painted.
What are some of your hopes/goals/plans for 2017?
so basically you are ready to start cooking in the kitchen! No more excuses!
ReplyDeleteMy hope is for my year to be balanced and strong businesswise and healthwise
Funny about the appliances. Hubby says he already likes the way the interior works of the one in our old house better than a new one. Ugh.
DeleteOh my, that little girl is simply amazing! House is looking good. Happy New Year, Donna.
ReplyDeleteIsn't she a doll?
DeleteCute video. Great progress on the house!! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHubby said my office was done. I asked if I could start putting up pictures on the walls. :D
DeleteYou've made a lot of progress on your house. You must be excited about moving into it this year. I'm looking forward to a good year. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteSure getting there indeed. And yep, no matter the date, potential for many a thing is there.
ReplyDeleteYes. The potential is something I love about the start of anything.
DeleteI can't believe that little girl in the video! How can a four-year-old be so darned cute and so darned smart at the same time? Here's to your beautiful new home in 2017!
ReplyDeleteSomeone has some great ideas but that little girl delivers them so deliciously.
DeleteThat kid knows what's up. I hope this year is great for you, Donna, and the renovations are looking fabulous.
ReplyDeleteAhh! So adorable. And look at that house! You may end up actually living there some time in the not too distant future.
ReplyDeleteIsn't she? Her words might have been coached but her presentation rocked!
DeleteLol, too true:) But having a completed house to live in, that's certainly not a bad resolution;)
ReplyDeleteIt's starting to see real!
DeleteHubby is being helpful. Yay! That little girl shared some great advice. She deserves a pony! Yes indeed it is mostly the little moments that add up and create change. Sorry but too often one big changing moment is an awful one like a car crash and rarely a great one like winning the lottery. I'll go small and build up from there. Happy New Year Donna. I sound so merry don't I? :p
