What I've been working on ...
I'm pretty excited. I've been working to get Torn Canvas as an audiobook. My dream narrator has said he's very interested.
Yes, that was squeee you just heard.

And just for fun ...
I'm not normally a country music fan, but I grew up with Johnny Cash music because my dad was a fan. However, I am a huge fan of A Capella anyway, but men's A Capella? *sigh*
Did you do anything fun this weekend? See any movies?
Cool your dream narrator is interested!
ReplyDeleteDidn't go see any movies but did chill with the NetFlix this weekend.
We watched some stuff on Netflix too. Les bad cinema! *gag*
DeleteNice excerpt, Donna! Sounds like your audiobook plans are coming along.
ReplyDeleteI had a fun family day at amusement park and got to ride on my favorite roller coaster yesterday :)
Roller coasters ... I have conflicted emotions about those. lol
DeleteFirst I heard ring of fire sung that way, nice version. Awesome your dream narrator is interested too
ReplyDeleteI thought it was an awesome rendition.
Deleteooh, who's the dream narrator? Sean Connery? Cate Blanchett? :)
ReplyDeleteHaha Yeah, like I could afford them. :D
DeleteVery nice excerpt, and I hope your dream narrator comes through for you!
ReplyDeleteWe watched The King's Speech this weekend--it was very good.
Such a good movie! I'd like to see it again. It was interesting to see the A&E/BBC Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett on film together again--though not romantically this time.
DeleteI traveled to and from Nashville to see friends, so your video was appropriate. I'm not a huge country fan but being in Nashville and hearing all the up and coming singers was very cool and gives you a different view of country music!
ReplyDeleteWhen will you be able to tell us who your dream narrator is? Congratulations!
Once I sign the contract, I imagine.
DeleteOoooo… fab excerpt. I think this is the book I read a bit of when we were at that critique in American Fork? The names sound familiar!!! You're so good, Donna. <3
ReplyDeleteWhat a good memory you have!
DeleteI love a capella.
ReplyDeleteIt's so important not to be a pushover. That's an important lesson in that excerpt.
And it's a major character arc for her.
DeleteI am super excited about your audiobook news...I'm squeeing with you!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
