I got woken up around 2:30 to go bail my son's girlfriend out of the hospital. She wrapped her car around a tree (slick roads). So most of the day after the ward breakfast was a giant nap.
We did get some LOVELY rain, which made it the coolest, most lovely Fourth in recent memory. It dinged up the fireworks a little, but they still went off.
I'm so thankful for all the men and women who died and lived to make us a free country. And Thank you, Donna, for being one of the livers...:o)
I don't quite get this holiday, not being American, but have a wonderful time with family and friends, Donna.
