Yup. This about says it all.
Hubby and I are both ill, and it looks like we shared it
around on Mother's Day.
And that's on top of trying to work through the suggestions on the revise and resubmit. It's interesting that some of the scenes I'd shortened or removed, are being suggested to be embellished. Looks like perhaps I should have followed my original instincts.
You are so giving to each other - lol. sandie
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI had the same experience with my editorial revisions. I ended up putting back details I'd previously cut!
Feel better. My daughter got sick on Mother's Day from something she ate. Hope you get better soon.
ReplyDeleteYou got a R&R! That is so exciting :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are both well soon.
ReplyDeleteDonna, I'm sorry! Feel better and don't over-stress your manuscript. It will be all right.
ReplyDeleteAw. Get better soon!
ReplyDeleteAw, that's so cute. But I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDelete.....dhole
Feel better, fast!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteSometimes original instincts are best and yeah sick is just ick, hope all get better soon.
ReplyDeleteWell. This bites. An enforced vacation. Hmmm...what can you get done that you don't get to do often? Reading, sleeping, reading, eating soup, reading, blowing your nose, reading, oh, and reading!
ReplyDeleteI hope you both get all better soon.
Isn't it the case? Everybody has an opinion. Most often you take your publisher's opinion so they'll publish your book but sometimes you wish you could publish an extended version...;o)
I just read an article about someone whose publisher (Undead Books, I think) totally changed her book adding in parts that were completely stupid and had a bunch of misspelled words in them. She was really ticked. Sit scriptor cave.
Hope you feel better! Being sick is the worst.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are sick. What a bummer to both be ill at the same time.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've had that experience in writing of taking out stuff, putting it back in, taking some out again, putting it back in. But in the process of doing that, a lot of polishing goes on. None of that work is wasted.
Ah man, feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteFeeling any better? *hugs*
ReplyDeleteListen to your gut and follow your heart. In your present condition I hope that's not TMI. Feel better soon.
