Vacation . . . Again. Oh, and Self-Editing

Yep, I'm headed to paradise again.

I know. Rough life.

Robin Weeks posted an LTUE class update about self-editing. (I know! I've been a serious slacker/loser in this area myself, but repentance is coming. Someday). But it's an awesome recap of a class taught by the amazing Tristi Pinkston (author and editor).  It's definitely worth your time to check it out.

When I find posts like this, I copy them and post the information in a document (with a link back to the original post), so I won't lose it. How do you keep track of useful information you find online?

  1. Enjoy your vacation!

I tend to bookmark the sites I really like, though I have used your method for a couple of things. Yours is probably better.

  3. For the really good stuff,I print it out and keep it in a file. But,then of course,I don't trust my browser to get me back to anything.

Enjoy paradise, but especially enjoy those grandchildren. Mine should be here in about three weeks.

  5. Oh, wow, have a great time AGAIN! (grumble, grumble, we're expecting snow, whatever).

And I usually bookmark a page and save it in a file for later reference. Otherwise I'd never find the page again.

  10. I depends what the info is. I'll either bookmark it, write it in a notebook, or copy/paste to Evernote.

    Enjoy the trip.

  11. I bookmark it. But let's face it: I rarely go back to it unless it REALLY stood out.

It looks like you are vacationing in paradise! Oh, wait. You are. :) Have a fabulous trip!
