    I used to read the Hobbit to my classes, I'm thrilled, excited, and will be one of the first to purchase the DVD! Hurray!

    Nope. We're boycotting it. LOTR was just too awful and we'll not allow Peter Jackson to ruin another beloved book for us.

    I never read the book. Can't watch the trailer here at work, and I haven't seen commercials for it yet. So I have no idea whether or not I'll see it! Haha.

    Trailer looks awesome, can't wait to see it. I hated the book. Thought it was an annoying slog (Sorry, I know there are folks reading the torches and pitch forks as I write.) Never read LOTR because of it, but Peter Jackson made a believer out of me.

    Oh, excited! So very, very excited! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I've been walking around for two days going, "Hobbit trailer," whenever I remember. Just so happy! :)

    Watched the trailer. Looks interesting. Is it bad that I watched two trailers from "Joyful Noise" afterward? I'm a sucker for gospel choir movies.

    I am looking forward to it, and, yes, I have read the book.

    I loved how LOTR was handled (the book that they said couldn't be turned into a movie) and I'm hoping for more of the same here.
