What are you up to for the weekend? Hubby is headed to California and Disneyland, and I'll be flying out next week after the Canvass of the election. I may have to see Harry Potter again

  1. This week-end nothing spectacular, catching up on hosehold task and shopping.
    Have a good week-end yourself.

  2. Good example to demonstrate the difference between "then" and "than." (Drives me buggy when someone misuses the terms.) By the way, liver & onions isn't bad at all if prepared properly.

Starting right after breakfast today, I'll be painting the living room and hallways this weekend. Monday, I'll probably be flat on my back. Moaning.

  3. Yummy!!!!

The only reason I get them wrong is because of a typo. My fingers are ahead of where my brain is. The same reason why I end up spelling 'their' instead of 'they're,' and 'where' instead of 'were'. Fortunately I catch them when I edit.

    Enjoy your trip!

  5. Yum, hungry now. So your hubby gets to drive for 18 hours or so while you fly...clever. However did you work that in there? :) Hope you have a good time. If you'd gone to Florida I would have suggested you go visit the new Harry Potter attraction...not sure if they have it in California yet.

  6. It was his choice, Laila. He wanted to deliver something to his brother in Fresno that he's had in his jeep for a month. I couldn't leave today because of work. I'll be driving back with him on Friday.

  8. How about tackling affect and effect? It's pretty stupid to have words that mean the same thing NOT really mean the same thing. Just sayin"

  9. This one is hard for students. Than is a comparison. Then refers to time.

By the way--is that Kneaders dessert selection. It looks so yummy!
