100 YA Books

FYI --I'm traveling through Friday, so I won't be able to do any blog visits until I get back. I'm off to Disneyland with the grandkids.

I copied this from Robin Week's blog post here, and she got it from Chanelle at Beyond Words. I did not create this list, and I'm not sure who did.

I should also note that I may have a book but haven't had a chance to read it yet. I had to finally stop buying books I wanted to read and keep track of them on my Goodreads list instead. My to-read list is approaching 90 books.

  6. Your list has completely intimidated me!! And it's reminded me of about 15 books that I'd forgotten to put on my TBR list...crap. I gotta go read :)

  8. Sorry, I've read next to none of those. Then again, I'm not the target audience.

  9. Hope you have a super fun time in Disneyland!

I like Shannon Hale's stuff - my favorite of hers is one of her adult ones Austenland.

  10. Have fun at Disneyland!!

Oh, my. So many books I haven't read!

(I love the additions you put of Janette Rallison's books. I ADORED "My Fair Godmother" and "My Unfair Godmother.")

I'd probably add "Faery Rebels: Spell Hunter" (USA) AKA "Knife" (UK) by R.J. Anderson. I loved it.

  11. I haven't read any of those books. I've read one book by Stephanie Meyer and one by Lisa McMann. I thought they were boy pretty good. I'm trying to read more YA books.

  12. Oh, my best friend is going to absolutely DIE when I tell her The Book Thief is YA. She claims to hate almost everything in the genre, and yet she's literally fallen in love with that one.

Good luck. I think I could start now and finish in fifty years!

  14. I think it's time you borrowed some of my books. Too many of these are listed as unread. We need to fix that. :]
