Blogging Challenge

I've been seeing a lot of the blogs I follow with this picture:

I considered doing it, but I was hoping to take a trip with a friend to Ireland sometime in April, so I figured I would pass. Well, I found out on Sunday that I'll have Internet access at least a part of the trip, so I'm going to give it a try after all. Arlee Bird was hoping for 300 participants this year, and nearly 600 have already signed up. This should be interesting.

I'm leaving on March 31st, so I may need to make a couple of posts at a time and skip a day. I hope that's not cheating.

  1. You can always write posts a head of time a pre-schedule them to be posted on certain days. That's what I'm doing for at least the first week due to my own circumstances.

  2. Oh I'm so glad you're going to do this. I don't have the button on my blog but I did commit to the challenge and I'm super nervous about producing so many posts.

Now I don't feel so alone!

  3. I was going to mention the prewritten, posts to schedule but looks like Sarah beat me to it!
Wow Ireland!? How fun!! Have fun with the A-Z Challenge!!

  4. I was also going to mention the scheduling option. I didn't know about it at first, either - but, I love it!

And, jealous!!! I've been reading O.R. Melling's Chronicles of Faerie and now I've got a real itch to go to Ireland. I hope you have a fabulous trip! So fun! :)

  5. Good luck with the A to Z! I won't be participating but will check out your posts. Have a wonderful time in Ireland!

  6. Yay! I'm so glad you've joined in the fun. I can't wait until April!

  7. Why would you want to even bother with a blogger challenge while on holiday? I mean, it's Ireland. How cool is that? So much more I'd rather do while there, then post on a blog, read a blog or even turn on a computer.

  8. Thanks everyone. I'm excited to do it, too.

Happy Whisk, the reason to do it is to get better at it, the writing. I imagine that I'll find Ireland things to post about. Especially since it's turned into a research project for a new book. =D

  9. Nearly SIX HUNDRED?! Wow, I haven't checked the list in a while!

Comments brighten my day.
