Going Wide
When I was first published, I was Wide. Amazon hadn't come up with Kindle Unlimited yet--that's their lending library where authors get paid for pages read. A requirement for being in KU is that your ebook is exclusive to Amazon.
Now I'm trying Wide again. I've started out with my Lilac City series since shorter books make sense Wide. But now there's also Kobo to load to as well as Nook and B&N is sooooo slow at everything!
Anyway, wish me luck with this new venture. It's a lot more work being Wide, and I haven't even figured out the promo aspect yet. Oh, well. Exercise for the gray matter, I hope.

DeleteCongrats and good luck! Are you publishing to each one separately (so much work!) or using an aggregator (like Draft2Digtal)? I know separately is higher reward, but right now I'm using Draft2Digtal to go wide. So far, that's been pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI'm using D2D for everywhere but Kobo and B&N. I understand those two provide promo options when you load directly to them that I'd like to take advantage of once I figure it all out. lol
