I had hip replacement surgery on the date of my last post, so it's been a month of recovering. I was a bit of an optimist and signed up to do NaNo. Epic fail, of course. I didn't count on the post surgery brain fog.
But this past week, I'm back to writing, so while I'll not claim a winner badge this year, I'm working again. I'll count that as a win.
Glad you are writing and mostly recovered. My father had that surgery and it was a long recovery. Do your exercises and therapy and it will go faster!
ReplyDeleteYeah. My father-in-law did too. I'm just glad it's not the knee! lol
DeleteOy, I thought you had a heart surgery, but this explains why you were unable to move. Do you have to learn how to walk again? No more twerking for you I guess :)))
ReplyDeleteHaha Definitely no twerking. I actually walked the day of the surgery. But since they put the metal hip join into the hip bone--and it takes time to heal--I have to be careful. Being off the cane at only 3 weeks is great.
DeleteGlad you're recovering and didn't push yourself to do what you couldn't do. Love the quote!
ReplyDeleteThanks, and I love it too. <3
