Cohosts for this month are J.H. Moncrieff, Tonja Drecker , Patsy Collins, and Chrys Fey!
Optional December Question: What are five objects we'd find in your writing space?
- Computer
- Monitor (mine is 40" - it's actually a TV and I love it)
- Microphone (I dictate)
- Headphones (for dictation)
- Emotion Thesaurus
What about you?
That's awesome your monitor is so big. If I had room for one like that, I'd use a flat screen as well. Or just order a really big monitor.
ReplyDeleteI got it because it makes formatting books so much easier.
DeleteI'm not keen on any type of thesaurus – don't know why as they're a perfectly logical tool for a writer to have. I do like a dictionary though and keep one handy.
ReplyDeleteI love that Emotion Thesaurus. It helps me so much.
DeleteWhat? No chocolates, no booze? I thought most classics came from writers in complete state of drunkeness :))
ReplyDeleteHaha Not this one!
DeleteYou just reminded me about my Emotion Thesaurus! A great source for writers. I borrowed it to my daughter need to get it back.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
I have it in paperback and ebook.
DeleteI have been using the Emotion Thesaurus lately a lot. It's a great help!
ReplyDeleteHappy Writing and life in December!
So much help! I followed their blog and found it a great resource long before they did the books.
DeleteGot a podcast mic in my space too, tempted to try an audio book with it. :)
ReplyDeleteWishing you a safe and Happy Holidays!
I've thought about the audiobook thing too, but then that's time I could be writing my next book, right? lol
DeleteWith a monitor that size you won't miss anything.
ReplyDeleteThat's the goal!
DeleteMine is pretty simple too. I just use a laptop.
ReplyDeleteI have one of those too. I just work better on my PC.
DeleteI have one thing on my desk: a mess!
ReplyDeleteLol, emotional thesaurus indeed :)
