And no, the two items in the title aren't related. :D
I had a little adventure on the 4th when I had an interaction with some blood clots in my lungs. Left the family at our hosted BBQ and took a trip to the ER.
As you can see by the photo to the right, the fam figured out how to entertain themselves while we were gone. lol
We made it back to eat leftovers and watch the fireworks.
I'm grateful for modern medicine and that I'm still alive.
I'm also part of this summer giveaway.
That's scary stuff. Glad to hear you're okay, Donna.
ReplyDeleteIt is. Thanks, Jeff.
DeleteThat is scary stuff! Glad you're better.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Bummer is I have to take blood thinner for 6 months.
DeleteOh, my goodness! I'm glad you are still alive, too. Blood clots on your lungs. Pretty scary. But you are right . . . modern medicine is something to be grateful for. 2 years ago, I discovered I have glaucoma, and, thanks to modern medicine, I'm not going blind. 50 years ago, that would not have been the case. We were born in a good time.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby had blood clots nearly 10 years ago, and the meds now are much improved. Expensive but less cumbersome to take.
Delete'tis an aspirin for breakfast from now on :P
ReplyDeleteGlad you're OK now!
Blood thinners, for sure.
DeleteBlood clots sure are nothing to fool with. Glad they were able to get it figured out.
ReplyDeleteIt was my kids pushing me to be seen about it that got me there.
DeleteHope you feel better! Sending lots of good vibes your way:)
ReplyDeleteWow. That had to be scary! Hope you're feeling better and that nothing like that happens again!
ReplyDeleteI know, right? lol
